Nature's shadows fall, marking her vanishing points

* I have nothing to say, which is why I'm not on my blog or yours much these days.

* I've been sewing a little. I'm slowly coming up with a bag that's been in my head for three months. So far I'm onto prototype number four. Geometry is not my forte, obviously. These here are numbers two and three.

A box for socks Box bag - prototype #3

* I updated the shop tonight. My aim is to keep doing tiny updates as I make stuff, so the shop is always stocked. Well, that's my aim.

  3. Your posts are always worth reading, even if just for your titles (Coco's lunch this time, I do believe). The prototypes look lovely. How is work going?

  5. They are beautiful. I have tried to make cubes before for the kids and found the only way to get square edges was to have seams on them all. Yours look pretty good to me :-)

  6. I am more than a little bit jealous of your boxed corners. I measure and measure and measure and mine always come out uneven.

  10. I am with rose red - I love them and especially the red one, of course. great title, is it from Coco's lunch? I friend's cousin is in that group, I have seen a grown up show and a kids show and they were both fantastic.

  11. Yep the cubes are looking good! I was going to sympathise that geometry is not really my forte either. But then I realised my problem might be that I don't actually think about geometry, I just have a vague idea in mine of a shape, then think I can just start knitting and it will all work out (it doesn't). I've made some very weird objects that way.

  13. The cubes rule, I very much like them. Is that the squirrel fabric you described at ABN? Cos I like it as much in internetty real life as I did when it was a picture in my head.

  15. I was just looking at your other bags that I bought and thought that a cube shaped one would be fabulous to hold extra items. It looks as though I was reading your mind. I love the squirrel fabric too.
