Marg's Star

I'm in Sydney for the quilt show this week, and I have a couple of hours spare this afternoon back at my apartment. It's pouring with rain outside and I can barely see the view of the city. I have a few packs of Marg's Star blocks and some fresh fabric from the show, plus some fresh juice from the guy in Llankelly Place which he swears will cure my laryngitis.

If I can work out how this beast comes together I may have a new addiction.

Also how cool is this fabric I found?

  2. Hot honey, lemon and ginger drink. Just squeeze a lemon or two add a tsp fresh grated ginger (or from jar). Sweeten with a couple of tblsp of honey (or more) ;)

    1. Thanks Judi. Was doing all that (but no honey because I don't eat sweet things) - turns out there is nothing you can do for viral laryngitis other than wait the week it takes to get your voice back :(

  3. I've jumped in my time machine and gone back in time to see the beginning of your Marg Star. Those little foxes are just the cutest little furry fellows!

    1. Hi Sue. Sorry for the lack of email reply, but you're a no reply blogger so I don't know what your email address is. Hopefully you will see this. I don't actually live anywhere near Seattle so I couldn't tell you! But Material Obsession in Australia is selling them - perhaps email them to ask.
