After a trying day at work, these three things make me super dooper happy (not as happy as winning the lotto and retiring from work forever, but happy nonetheless):
By Friday, I want to ride this baby to work.
I need to make a quilted clutch bag to hold my bike locks. I currently carry them in my basket and they make quite a racket as I tear along the footpaths of Ainslie. I think this fabric would be perfect.
One day this bare patch of earth will be our vegetable garden. One day soon, I hope - but in the meantime it is fun to dream of snowpeas and carrots and coriander and rhubarb.
The fabric is so sweet! Good luck with the veggie patch - there's nothing quite like popping out the back for a few things for dinner.
ReplyDeleteYour retro bike is fantastic - love it!
ReplyDeleteAaah, in springtime a woman's heart turns to vegie gardens.... :) Hope you have fun making it happen!

ReplyDeletebeautiful!
Just found your blog, love it. Your life seems a lot like mine, chaos with good intentions! I am a quilter, knitter, crocheter, embroiderer and sewer who tries hard to keep a household sort of organised. Especially love your Boteh scarf. Will check when I go to town today and see if that issue is still available. I live on the south coast about 2 hours from Canberra. Also love cycling and bought a new bike this year, love your cruiser style looks very comfy.
