We had a pretty amazing hailstorm this afternoon.
I love thunder and lightening, and especially hail, just so long as it's safe and doesn't cause damage. You know, a "good" storm.
I'm so lucky to be working from home. If I was still working in the windowless office, I wouldn't have even known it was raining. Instead I got to witness nature at her furious best and photograph the evidence.
Thats awesome! I remember when I was in primary school we had a massive hail storm and the lady across the road from us her front lawn was covered with so much hail you couldn't see any green. It looked so cool!
ReplyDeleteWow! We got lots of rain but no hail.
ReplyDeleteoooh it was a good one!
ReplyDeleteI sit by the window at work and had all the blinds up so i could see the storms - but we didn't get hail! =)
No hail today, just lots of rain, we had a great hail storm last year, I put pictures on my blog at the time it's always fabulous to have the power of nature where you can see it!
ReplyDeleteHail storms are great. I love huge thunder storms too. We haven't had a great thunder storm in forever.
ReplyDeleteHey, did you get my email about the Hexagon template? It was around the time my computer crashed and burned so I'm not sure if it made it.
Check out that hail! Wow!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the "good" storms. I especially like the thunder that shakes the house, too cool.

ooh, that looked like a great hail storm! I think we just got really heavy rain until just before I left work (which was good because I forgot my umbrella).
ReplyDeleteLove hail as long as it doesn't damage the flowers!
ReplyDeleteLove watching lightning - we used to get some doozies in QLd - sit on the verandah with a gin and tonic and watch - better than most movies!
wasn't it fantastic - there was still hail in my front yard this morning
ReplyDeleteIt was pretty good. I took some photos too, but I haven't managed to upload them yet...and they're not as good as yours.
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely blog you have...wow...what hail...we hardly ever get any hail in my area ...lots of rain which I adore. Off to read some of your past posts and check out your lovely etsy shop...so nice to have found you..I will be back!
ReplyDeletewe got the hail here too, but it was weird where it went. My parents are only half an hour away, they didn't get any - or rain either - but only a few kms up the road they got the hail and almost an inch of rain!
ReplyDeleteWe had a little bit of hail while at dinner with family in Beenleigh, QLD. It was such a surprise, and we all rushed outside to have a closer look. It has been so long since it hailed. I remember collecting hail as a child and putting it in the freezer. :)
ReplyDeletelovely photos
