Oh dear, what a funny old week. Out of sorts. Worried. Tired of mean people. Cranky. Plus I've run out of
tiffin.
Time for some
therapy online fabric shopping! But instead I thought I would dig through my box of fabrics and do an audit of what I already had. This is only part of it.
So I did some cutting.
A cup of coffee and an hour later I had myself the makings of some
sunnyboys, and I was feeling much more at peace with the world.
More creative spaces over at
Kirsty's!
LOVE your fabric..:) I wish the weather would chill up over here so I could enjoy a up of coffee..
ReplyDeleteI hope the rest of your week remains inspired!!!
Sounds a bit like my week. But that lovely fabric stash would cheer anyone up!
ReplyDeleteOoh, nice stash :) Glad your in-house therapy worked (for a bit anyway...)
ReplyDeleteI think we can all learn a lesson here (especially me) - shop from the stash and move away from the computer!

ReplyDeleteGlad to see that your day improved though and those fabrics are gorgeous!
Oooh lovely stash! I'm glad the creativity soothed you, as it does. But I can understand you being upset about finishing the tiffin, I just had to look away from that post (well actually I made a comment about having to go on a diet and not being able to read the recipe at all!).
ReplyDeleteBeauties, those fabrics. May have to keep an eye on the sunnyboys that come of them!
ReplyDeleteFabric therapy is always a good thing. Even better when it's from the stash :)
ReplyDeleteI have those skulls, and those cookies, and those ginkos - oh dear, perhaps I do have too much fabric. Don't they look so sweet and much cheaper than theropy I think!

ReplyDeleteLovely fabric and well done for going to the stash!
ReplyDeleteStarting craft projects or just surveying and daydreaming over my fabric stash always pulls me out my funks too.
ReplyDeleteFabric and creativity always provides the best therapy!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if it's the time of year, but I too have had a worrysome, sick of mean people week. I'm glad the time amongst the fabric made things a little better!
