Cold

Forecast for Sunday
A cold day with a few showers, falling as snow at times. Snowfalls more frequent over the ranges. Moderate to fresh and gusty west to northwesterly winds, strengthening about the higher ground.

Precis: Few showers/snow showers.
City: Max 7
Tuggeranong: Max 7

Which explains why the rain falling on our deck looks all lumpy. It's freaking snowing.

I don't think I'll be riding my bike to the quilt show this morning.

  1. oh well, don't think I will bother with any washing today. Hopefully it will snow enough that my nieces can play in it at GrannyBamp's today - that is what the 2 year old calls Mum and Dad, they are not a separate entity, lol. Approx 4 hours and counting till we have Mum's sponge cake.

  2. I just read your post and thought, hmmm yes its a bit chilly here in Melbourne today too. And a quick look at weatherzone.com.au reveals that in my suburb its 3.4oC at 11am. I should keep an eye out for snow!

  3. I was looking at the BOM at 4pm and the apparent temp was -1.5. Definitely a chilly Canberra winter day.
