Old lock, old door, old yard, overgrown

I have a lot to be thankful for.

Lilac at sunset

On beautiful days like the one we had today, the sun seems to take that little bit longer to set, almost as if he's reluctant to get his toes dusty in the great western lands.

First BBQ of spring

Tonight we celebrated spring properly with a barbeque of the best food that the Canberra region has to offer. How lucky am I to live here?

Butterfrog

I live with sunsets like these, and with a garden that immerses me and makes me lose track of time. I love and am loved, and I live a happy life.

I have a lot to be thankful for.

What are you thankful for today?

  2. I'm thankful for kids who love each other so much hugs and kisses are a multiple times a day thing! Especially when they are having a lazy day in the sun.

  3. I'm thankful that today I was able to stay in my PJs all day, dye yarn, hug my kids, catch up on some blog reading and generally jut have a relaxing day where we didn't *have* to do anything. Especially after the last few weeks I'm also thankful for my health - you don't realise how important it is until you don't have it.

  7. I am thankful that a quick and cheap upgrade of my computer's RAM today has made SUCH a difference - it's running so much faster and my stress and frustration levels have dropped instantly! I thought I was going to have to buy a new computer but I can put it off now.

I'm thankful for a lot of more meaningful things but that is top of mind right now!

  8. Somehow when greedily snatching my sunny boy from your shop I'd missed that you were a blogger too! Am loving my sunny boy v much - currently housing a slow growing Pomatomus.

Thank you for lovely words on my Honeybees but those gorgeous Wollmeise ones of yours puts my sunshine in the shade!

  9. I am grateful for the blue skies at the moment - they have lifted me from a black place just enough to keep on going.

  10. I'm thankful for my friends forcing me to get out of the house and do something that I wouldn't normally dream of doing. Last week was mildly rubbish, so getting out and doing something helped me take my mind off things.

  11. Yesterday I visited both my brother and sister, they live in the inner city with tiny courtyards, I love what the city has to offer but as soon as I get home and sit in my backyard, I tell you there is nothing like it!
But at this moment I'm thankful for an opening window with a cool breeze and a view out to my backyard, and a bbq for dinner tonight!
    Cheers!
