I got the blah blah blahs

Not much to say here, but this morning I found a new use for my vintage Pyrex - in the sewing room.

Labels in Pyrex

While I was there I sewed a couple of things for the shop, but not too much. I didn't want to get overwhelmed with creativity or nothin'.

Elephants in Socks

I took a walk in the garden. Autumn, before the leaves colour and fall, is so pretty here in Canberra.

Sedum

Buddleia

And I've almost finished a crocheted shawl. I haven't had time to do any sewing for myself for Big Girl's' Blou's'e Month but I did discover Shop your Shape thanks to Liesl at Hoppo Bumpo, and now I know what shape I am and what clothes are supposed to suit me, and you have no idea what a revelation that is.

  2. Oooh, can't wait to see the crochet shawl! I have a bit of a thing for them at the moment. I have just made one and I am waiting for some wool to arrives from the US so I can start on another one. :)

PS. Love the pyrex and the matching bag.

  3. Nice repurpose of the pyrex, I love that pretty harlequin/dot pattern.

Has the weather turned autumnal? It was warm here today, but you can tell summer is definitely on the way out.

  8. OMG Shop Your Shape is fantastic!

I think we used to have some Pyrex bowls like that, but without the litte detail on the side. The one I remember best was brown...And I have buddliea envy, is yours scented? I have an unscented one and it seems like such a waste!
