Hypnotized by a strange delight under a lilac tree

The first flush of lavender.

Lavender in the late afternoon

The last blooms of lilac.

Last of the lilacs

The viburnum is about to erupt, but what is this beautiful pink flower?

Strange looking rosy flower

  3. Rosebud from Kattwings on etsy. Click on the link in the main post to see her shop! Katt is in Launceston and does express post too if you ask (enable, enable, prod, prod).

  5. Looks like a lovely specimen of Stashius Yarnii. Take care, this species is a wonderful addition to any garden but can get out of control and take over. (Closely related to that other prolific genus Stashius fabricii).

Hope your back is on the mend.

  7. Lovely flowers!

My lavendar has not flowered this year - not enough water I guess.

But my lilac has done well - especially since hubby dug it out by mistake last winter - he thought it was a privet....
