You laugh until you cry, you cry until you laugh

So how was the weekend, you ask? How was it?

Jodie from Vintage Ricrac's selvedge dress

It was bloody spectacular, actually, but I can't talk right now. Big job application due. Bigger work deadlines due. Battles with self-esteem to overcome. I'll be back in a few days.

But jeebers, I'm a lucky chook. I thought I already knew the loveliest people ... and now I know even more of them.

  1. Bloody self-esteem! It gets us all you know!

word verification is 'twine' - I swear sometimes taht is all that is holding my life together!

  2. I'm so sorry I missed you on Saturday. What a bummer!
Good luck with the job interview, you'll be a hit for sure!

  3. oooh I can't wait and see your pics!!
    I love that dress!

  4. Good luck with the job application! And I'm with Kuka - love that dress!

  5. Hmmm, job applications...I prefer not to think about those right now!! But good luck, I'm sure you'll do fine.

And geez I love that dress!!

  6. Good luck with the job application.

I'm very jealous about your weekend in Melbourne, you lucky duck. I can't wait to get the low down on it!

  7. You are an amazing, funny, fantastic, gorgeous woman and I'm so glad I got to meet you in person at the show! You go banish those self-doubts and knock 'em dead with your application!

  8. Good luck with the interview - take a deep breath and bowl 'em over!

  9. I hope all goes well for you during the next few days, I'll be thinking of you.

If the self-esteem issues continue for more than a couple of days let me know and I'll administer an emergency limerick!!

  10. I was going to start by saying thank you for your lovely comment on my blog, but I'm a little distracted by the prospect of an emergency limerick. Eleanor, if you cruise back past and see this, can we have a limerick, please, regardless of circumstances?

Mick, I was going to say that one of the disappointments of the show was knowing that I had missed meeting some people I'd have loved to have caught up with! So I'm sorry we didn't have a chance to meet, but we'll have to say hello next time.

    Good luck!

  11. You went to the Stitches and Craft shop and saw Jodie's selvedge dress, in the flesh in the textile?!!!!!!!!!. I'm so envious.

  12. like Nettie said - i would know that dress anywhere! You lucky lucky chook - I hope the application is finished. good luck with it

Thanks for stopping by! I love reading your comments, but if you're anonymous please tell me who you are.
